Tony's passion for the financial markets started at age 12 when he began buying stocks and mutual funds with the proceeds from summer employment. The majority of Tony's personal and professional life has been in the state of Iowa. He attended Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines and the University of Iowa. Post-graduation, Tony followed his childhood dream to work on the business management side of the entertainment industry in Beverly Hills, California. Tony specifically worked with comedy writers and performers. He left California in 2007 to join Principal Financial Group and get back to his Midwest roots. He co-founded Bral Niedert with Matt in 2015. Tony is a second-generation financial professional who followed in the footsteps and industry guidance of his father, Mike Niedert.
Tony holds the following securities registrations: FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66. His focus is on providing wealth management resources for business owners, executives, and medical professionals. Tony's passion lies in creating financial awareness and providing a VIP experience in helping individuals and businesses customize financial plans based on their objectives and needs. He serves clients in 33 states with a focus on surrounding Midwestern cities.
Tony is a founding board member of the charity P4C, which provides fundraising efforts benefiting children's charities in Des Moines. He is also an active member of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI), Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and Finseca.
Tony currently resides in West Des Moines with his wife, Janet, and their three children, Vincent, Nash, and Rosina. He is a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in West Des Moines.
